Since University Zoom accounts require Single Sign-On to log in, the Display Name field is populated by University systems and is not editable. A user's display name in Zoom syncs with a user's display name in Outlook/Exchange. So, if you would like to change your Zoom display name, you can do this by requesting to have your Outlook display name changed. Once this change is complete in Outlook, the new display name will populate in Zoom as well.
To request a change to your Outlook display name, contact the UIT Helpdesk at 801-581-4000 or email them at email@example.com. Make sure to indicate that you need to have your "Outlook display name" changed. Once this is complete, you will need to log out of Zoom on all of your devices and log back in for the display name change to populate in Zoom.
