A test course is a Canvas course that you can use to experiment with features, try out content and delivery methods, use to train other faculty or department personnel, or use as a template course. Students are not enrolled by default, but you can add users and create course content.
When you create a test course in CIS it gives you a Canvas course shell not tied to any specific class. You can move your test course to a more permanent location by contacting classhelp@utah.edu. To create a test course make sure you are on a Campus network or VPN and follow these steps:
