School of Music Undergraduate and Graduate Placement Exams

School of Music Placement Exams

 

Congratulations on being accepted to The University of Utah.
Please follow the directions below to gain access to the School of Music Placement Exam.

 

Step 1: User ID and Password Setup

To set up your user ID and your new password, please find the email sent to you from the Office of Admissions. It looks like this:

All uNIDs start with a 0 (zero) and have a total of eight characters. You will need to use a lower case "u" to replace the first zero everytime you use your uNID as a user ID.

Your uNID will be activated the first time you log into the Campus Information Services (CIS) portal.

You are required to change your password the first time you log-in.
Please remember your new password. You will need it to access all university systems.

 

Step 2: Now that your username and password are set, let’s log into Canvas:

Canvas is the primary Learning Management System (LMS) of the University of Utah, where you can view your classes.
This is your login screen you will see each time you attempt to log into any university system.
