This article specifically addresses ordering and arranging for Clickers from Turning Technologies. Information is provided for Instructors. A different article discusses TurningPoint Clickers from the Student's Perspective.
There are two different processes for ordering or arranging for TurningPoint Clickers used in University of Utah classes. Instructions and links are provided below depending if your classes are part of the main/central campus or are associated with the health sciences campus (School of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, etc.)
University of Utah Main/Central Campus
Instructors can order TurningPoint Clickers from the University Campus Store (no charge when conditions are met).
In a week after placing the order, instructors or department representives can pick up their instructor kit at Teaching & Learning Technologies in the Marriott Library Faculty Center, Suite 1705. The instructor kit includes the receiver, a hand-held device, and quick start manual.

To ensure availability and sufficient time to familiarize yourself with clicker technology, please order your instructor kit and TurningPoint Clickers from the Campus Store by these recommended due dates for each semester :
- Fall Semester: April 15
- Spring Semester: October 15
- Summer Semester: March 1
Demonstration & Trial Use
Faculty, staff and graduate students can arrange to demonstrate or try clickers for a maximum of five weekdays. Contact Teaching & Learning Technologies in the Marriott Library Faculty Center, Suite 1705, at 801-581-6112-option 1.
Demonstration and trial use clickers include the following:
- 1 Receiver
- 33 Response Cards (clickers)
- Software CD-ROM
- Quickstart Instructions
Training & Support
Most Turning Technologies support for the use of their Clicker technologies can be obtain directly from their website. Links are provided in the following TLT Knowledge Center Article:
